Here is one of my favourite prints of a photograph I took recently: a mesmerising view from within the historic walls of the Papa Luna Castle in Peñíscola, Spain. This photograph captures the interplay of light and shadow on the ancient stone, highlighting the narrow, arched window as a portal to the modern world outside. It’s a testament to the enduring beauty and history of this medieval fortress on the Mediterranean coast. A narrow stone alcove leads to a small window, allowing sunlight to stream through and highlight the rugged texture of the stone walls. The design suggests historical architecture with an air of mystery.
